Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan Solo<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan – composer, lyricist, vocalist, guitarist, producer. He released two albums with the Imagination Quartet in 2011 and 2015, with which he performed in China, Germany, Denmark and Poland. In 2015, he performed his own song “Najlepiej” in Must Be The Music. In 2017, he released his debut album, which featured leading Polish musicians and guests from abroad, including: Dante Luciani. In 2018, as one of the nine, he was selected with the song “Czy si\u0119” for the Debuts concert as part of the 55th KFPP in Opole. Together with the artist Magdalena Malena Jankowska, he co-creates the performance “MaloGranie”, which was staged in Poland, Italy and Cyprus. In 2020, during the first lockdown, he and Magdalena went out to the balcony of an apartment in a Warsaw tenement house for as many as 64 days in a row. He sang one song every day to cheer people’s hearts, which received great attention on social media. In 2022, he created the So\u0142tan Doors project, in which he presents the compositions of The Doors in their own arrangements for a six-person band. In 2023, he took part in The Voice Of Poland, in which he reached the semi-finals, which brought, among others, a new single for Universal “Niespotykani”.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The post-doors trend is perfect for Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan’s work. An energetic concert combining rock, funk and blues shows the alternative side of the artist.
What makes this project stand out? A combination of the tradition of “The Doors” music with a brass section. This idea is a kind of innovation and space for solos by unique instrumentalists. During the concert we will hear famous songs such as: Riders On The Storm, Break On Through, Light My Fire, People Are Strange, Hello I Love You, The End. For dessert, Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan’s original songs, such as “Hide and Seek”, “We\u017a”, Kitchen Sink, Running (music by M. So\u0142tan, lyrics by Mungo Keulemans), the popular “Origami Blues” (music by M. So\u0142tan, lyrics by M.So\u0142tan, D. Pietrasik), or “List” (music: M.So\u0142tan, words: J. Ma\u015blanka). The latter, Micha\u0142, sings thinking about his birth father, whom he saw only once in his life.<\/p>

Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan was born in Warsaw in 1985. Also artistically associated with Sopot. Guitarist,\u00a0vocalist, songwriter, composer, producer and publisher. He has performed as leader of the Imagination\u00a0Quartet in China, Germany, Denmark and Poland. Participant of Must Be The Music 9 (2015), the 55 Debuts concert in Opole (2018) and The Voice Of Poland 14 (2023). He released 4 original albums, including the last solo one as Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan entitled MaloGranie, which he presented with a 10-person band at the Gda\u0144sk Shakespeare Theater.\u00a0The songs are played mainly on local stations in Poland. During the pandemic, Micha\u0142’s Facebook fanpage gained popularity, including: 3rd and 5th million plays. For several years, he has also been successful with the unique, international artistic project MaloGranie, during which professional artist Magdalena Malena Jankowska paints a picture live, and Micha\u0142 composes and performs music. In 2023 in cooperation with Ed Elesh and Brett Smith from Los Angeles, as Kinder Crowd Control featuring Micha\u0142 So\u0142tan, released the single Coyote Talk.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In his 20-year career as a musician, he has played, collaborated or collaborates with, among others: with Dante Luciani (Miami), Russ Spiegel (Miami), Christopher Li’nard Jackson (NY), Adam Lambert, Shannon Corey, Justyna Majkowska, Marek Stefankiewicz, Tomasz Harry Waldowski, Alters, Tomek Torres, Enej, Damian Ukeje, Mungo Keulemans , Magda Czapi\u0144ska, Irek Wojtczak, Mi\u0142osz Olecniecki.\u00a0He is a social activist for Polish music in the Polish Music Council and the Polish Jazz Association. In 2015, Micha\u0142 also started singing professionally. The songs “Pan Sowa”, “Take”, “Najlepiej”, “Chapter”, “Hide and Seek”, “Origami Blues”, “Spacer”, “Zakochaj”, “Don’t tell anyone” were and are played by radio stations in Poland and abroad (including Radio Gda\u0144sk, Radio Nowy \u015awiat, TOK FM, Jedynka, Tr\u00f3jka, Chillizet, Radio Szczecin, Radio Dla M\u0142odych, RDN Ma\u0142opolska, Radio \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Radio Kielce, Radio Lublin and others) Some of them, such as “Spacer” or “Zakochaj zakochaj” occupied for many weeks first places in local radio stations, e.g. Radio Dla Nasze, RDN Ma\u0142opolska and others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
